Not the best of sleep but tolerable. The single bed felt a bit small and uncomfortable.Catharine volunteered to gondown from the fourth floor and get me a coffee while I indulged in my normal morning routines. With coffee in hand and the pre prepared breakfast she had brought with her I tucked in and we chatted about our plans for getting home. We decided just to leave when we were ready and see how we get on.
Back over the Mersey bridges, making a note to self to ensure we paid the toll on line before midnight, we actually found very little traffic once we were away from the area surrounding the Airport Industrial Park. The Mercedes estate is very comfortable and I didn’t find it an issue sitting for an extended period, although when we get home that might be a different story.
No real holdups all the way back to North Wales, however we had to call in at North Wales Mercedes in Llandudno Junction to drop off some return parts. Next stop was at Hywel’s garage where I collected the Disco to drive home while Catharine drove the Mercedes home via Rhosneigr Pharmacy to collect my next order of meds.
I drove the scenic route via Newborough and Malltraeth and arrived a couple of minutes before Catharine. She insisted on getting all the kit from the car and I just went in to rest up for a while.
By now I was utterly exhausted and in a bit of pain, with stiffness in my right leg and quite a different feel to the last day in UPA. So I had a very restful afternoon being looked after by Mrs Wonderful who then recommended a BBC binge watch, Hidden Assets. By the end of the evening I had successfully watched the whole series, ok so I had to stop it and go back a bit here and there when I had fallen asleep. But yes it is worth a watch!
My leg was still painful even after ice treatment and lots of foot flexing, so I took some CBD Oil spray and a pill; it would seem that these did the trick!
